How uneed handles trust

Transparent labels, desk checks where we can, and clear limits on what the platform guarantees.

uneed is a marketplace — not the seller, not the buyer's lawyer, and not a RERA authority. We show what listers enter and what our operations team can confirm in this demo build.

Brand Seal (logo & identity)

Sellers can register a Brand Seal — a public ID that binds their trade name, legal entity, RERA record, and logo fingerprint. Listings show the verified mark; buyers open a seal page to compare WhatsApp flyers and hoardings before paying a token. Major portals watermark photos with their own logo; they rarely let you verify a third-party seller logo end-to-end.

  • Brand Vault — logo, GST PDF, trademark scan, hoarding print
  • Flyer Check — English + Hindi OCR, Devanagari normalize
  • Integration API — Razorpay, escrow, signed CDN export
  • PDP token guard — Razorpay verify, bank-step SMS, seller + push alerts (demo log)

Sealed listings expose a JSON trust manifest and require buyers to acknowledge seal verification before sending a lead — reducing token fraud on mismatched WhatsApp flyers.

Verified tag

When you see Verified on a listing, it means the seller passed an internal desk check in this demo. You should still verify RERA registration, title, and possession on official portals before paying a token.

Featured / Ad listings

Paid placements are labelled Ad or Featured. They rank higher but follow the same posting rules — no discriminatory language, no misleading carpet figures.

Contact & privacy

Phone numbers stay masked on public cards until you send a lead while logged in. Sellers respond from their desk queue; uneed does not guarantee response times.
